Westfield FFA Cup 2016 Nominations

November 14th, 2015

Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) is responsible for administering and conducting the Preliminary Rounds of the Westfield FFA Cup on behalf of Football Federation Australia.

NNSWF can now confirm that it has received two positions in the Round of 32 for 2016 and as such, can now start accepting nominations for the 2016 knock-out competition.

The Preliminary Rounds will be split into two pools, the Northern Pool and the Southern Pool. The Southern Pool will be split into two further sub-pools with one pool comprising of NEWFM 1st Division Clubs and Inter-District Clubs, and the other comprising of National Premier Leagues Clubs. As was the case in 2015, the NPL Clubs will not be included in Round 1 and will join the competition from Round 2 onwards. The sub-pool format will enable three non-NPL Clubs to progress to the Qualifying Finals and provide the opportunity for three NPL Clubs to progress to the Qualifying Finals. The Qualifying Finals will be contested by the last eight remaining clubs in NNSWF for the chance to progress to the Round of 32.

At this point in time the following dates have been locked in for pre-season FFA Cup fixtures:
