Twelve leading females receive Coaching Scholarships During Northern NSW Football’s rebel Female Football Week

July 3rd, 2019

Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) has reinforced the importance of female coaches by awarding twelve (12) FFA C-License scholarships to leading women throughout the football community.

NNSWF Head of Football Development Peter Haynes highlighted the importance of encouraging more women into coaching positions.

“While there has been and continues to be significant progress and growth in female football, the representation of women in accredited coaching positions remains significantly lower than male counterparts.

“As leaders in our game we feel it’s essential to develop sustainable and inclusive environments, including engaging more female role models and coaches,” said Haynes.

The following successful applicants were selected from all seven (7) NNSWF member zones and ranging from community grassroots football clubs through to Premier Leagues.
