Greta Branxton celebrate 50th Anniversary

August 8th, 2018

On Saturday 11th August, Greta Branxton Football Club will celebrate their 50th Anniversary featuring a full day filled with celebratory events, honorary commendations and of course, football.

During the morning, the ALDI MiniRoos and Juniors will kick off and be joined by the ALDI MiniRoos Wall Target, Newcastle Permanent blow up football field for fun and games all afternoon, and McDonalds face painting and team awards.

In the afternoon, speeches and ceremonies will take place including the official opening of the Wildcats’ Hall of Fame and a grand display for jerseys throughout the 50 years followed by two senior men’s matches featuring a special guest for the coin toss and a guard of honour from the ‘old boys’ who are all invited to attend.

The day will be a fantastic occasion for all past and present players, but also for the entire football community.

For more information of the day, contact ALDI MiniRoos Development Officer Brent Wallace – 0401 343 579
