Final Level 3 & 4 Referee Courses for 2019

November 18th, 2019

The final Level 3 and Level 4 Referee Courses are now full! The final two referee courses for 2019 at Speers Point are completely booked out – a great response from our current and up and coming referees!

The Level 3 Referee program builds on the basics developed in the Level 4 Referee program and is aimed at match officials officiating in junior to lower divisions of adult football. Referees who meet the prerequisites are able to enrol as a participant immediately their Level 4 Referee qualification is confirmed.

In order to register and complete a Level 3 Referee Course, the participant must be at least 16 years of age and have current registration as a match official. The participant must also hold a current Level 4 Referee Qualification.

The Level 4 Referee program is a combination of classroom sessions and practical mentoring. Participants must be 13 years of age at the start of the training program; be currently registered with FFA; and have successfully completed the FFA online Laws of the Game course and examination within the last 2 years.

To register for a course, you must be 13 years or older and have a current and valid FFA registration number. You must also pass the online FFA Laws of the Game course and exam within the previous two years, and provide an FFA Statement of Completion as evidence. If you have not yet taken the FFA online Laws of the Game course you can do so here.
