Date Change for Women’s State Cup

Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) has changed the date of the inaugural Women’s State Cup in 2017.

Due to circumstances beyond NNSWF’s control, the tournament has been rescheduled to the weekend of 23rd and 24th September at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility in Speers Point.

The change of date will ensure that clubs from all Member Zones have the opportunity to compete in the inaugural event.

Senior Women’s teams throughout Northern NSW have the opportunity to play against clubs from other Zones and the Herald Women’s Premier League for the first time in a sanctioned competition.

The establishment of the Women’s State Cup is consistent with Northern NSW Football’s strategic goal of increasing female participation and being a leading organisation for females in sport.

Clubs are requested to apply via the online nomination form by no later than 5 pm Wednesday 31st May 2017.
