Become a Registered Match Official in 2020 – Course Dates

Do you want to become a match official in 2020?

NNSWF has scheduled a Level 4 Referee Course for Hunter Valley Football in 2020 for individuals to become a registered match official.

The Level 4 Referee Program is a combination of classroom sessions and practical mentoring. Participants must be 13 years of age at the start of the training program; be currently registered with FFA; and have successfully completed the FFA online Laws of the Game course and examination within the last 2 years.

To register for a course, you must be 13 years or older and have a current and valid FFA registration number. You must also pass the online FFA Laws of the Game course and exam within the previous two years, and provide an FFA Statement of Completion as evidence. If you have not yet taken the FFA online Laws of the Game course you can do so here.

The cost to attend a course is $100, which entitles participants to the following NNSWF New Referee Starter Package:

  • Course Enrollment
  • Laws of the game book
  • Referee Whistle
  • Match Official Flag
  • Set of Red & Yellow Cards; and
  • Match Record Book

Upon passing the course and registering as a match official with NNSWF or one of its member zones, participants will then receive:

  • Referee Shirt (Black)
  • Referee Shorts
  • Referee Socks (Black)
  • NNSWF & Member Zone component of their referee registration fees for the 2020 season.
